Cool hmmm...

I would go with yin and yang or attraction and repulsion, the others have moral underpinnings. As you mentioned, thoughts might attract other thoughts, maybe there is something that repulses them, what if the ripple(s) are the result of struggle between universal forces of attraction and repulsion? (and would this explain our tendency to concieve of our environment in terms of diametrically opposed pairs of concepts: heaven-hell, good-bad, man-woman, nature-culture?

I could not have put it any better myself
that is it.It is part of a truine nature, the for and against, the yes and no,plus
the "medium" that permits this interplay?
kind regards michael.

Question How can we be one if we're between 2?

The problem is that there is dischord between this idea and the idea of unity. Hmmm....

There is unity there,as unity expresses
its self,it shows as three aspects, away from, toward to,and the medium in between, ying and yang and the pausing medium?A momentary pause is evident
in all exchanges of kinfolk behavior!

regards michael.

Cool yin yang

Maybe the yin yang is the best visual representation, not only do the 2 sides form a whole, but each area contains an element of the other. Is this then the very idea of fusion?

You have just hit the
nail with the hammer, yes that is the very idea of fusion, uniting three into one
in perfect balance, which will reap untold power, when understood, and actioned.
kind regards michael.
