MEDITATION

Some cannot usually ever see
Further than an order of magnitude
Beyond where they are rutted, but… some can
Intuit ultimate reality.

It said, in my dreams, Of ever waking,
It’s hard to convince you with dream-language,
As when, in wakeful reality,
To tell you of that which is beyond telling.

During meditation, one clears the mind,
And so, then, there’s no real self, just one quale
A near nothing that has little need to be;
Is this what-it’s-like to be a pure soul?

Physics, once more direct, now becomes an
Immaterial science of math-shadows,
While, mysticism, once but a fogged notion,
Now’s the direct observation of the Light.

Meditation shifts intention away
From controlling and acquiring
Toward acceptance and observation:
You take-in instead of acting upon.

Enlightenment’s not grasped or possessed
Acquisitive aim locks out the secret…
The form of consciousness that one starts with;
This is why "the secret protects itself".

The Spiritual refers to profound connection,
Though not through visions or ecstatic emotion,
But with the experience of connectedness that
Underlies reality, and nothing more.

Meditation relieves the survival self,
Shifting attention from acting to allowing,
From emotional identification to observation,
From instrumental thinking to receptive experience.

Meditation, renunciation, and service
Are not really mysterious, just different
From the usual object-oriented approach…
Mysticism is modern and ancient, not esoteric.

In serving the task, one forgets the self,
And accesses life’s connected aspects
To go beyond one’s self-centered consciousness,
The survival of mankind being at sake.

Awareness is the ultimate being,
Fundamentally connected with "Soul",
And cannot be known in terms of worldly
Objects—it’s like, well… you have to be there!

The connectedness of everything to everything,
A rudimentary perception in and of itself,
Experiential in its ultimate physical disposition,
Facilitates our consciousness of interior with exterior.

In your relationships, not only banish
Criticism, nagging, name calling, anger,
Punishments, and yelling, but, replace them,
With encouragement, support, and caring.


— Unhappiness —

Stress is the difference between what we
Expect to happen and what really happens—
Especially when we put our needs ahead
Of other’s, oft resulting in needless anger.


— The Hopeless Quest —

The three lower consciousnesses that are
Obsessed with the securing of objects,
With the chasing of sensations, and with
Power-control will never ever be enough.


— Higher Consciousness —

There are NO actions of people that can
Justify our becoming irritable
Angry, fearful, jealous, or anxious if
We give them our unconditional love.


— Defenselessness is Peace and Power —

If we don’t accept the unacceptable,
Then we lower our level of consciousness—
Our response will mirror their uptightness,
Which can spread the bad moods onto others.


— The Cure —

Moods good or bad are quite contagious…
To hold your tongue when wronged is courageous
When dealing with loved ones outrageous;
In the long run this is advantageous.


— They’re Looking For Love —

Putting ourselves in the place of others
When hurtful things are done to us,
Expands our consciousness, compassion, and love,
Since we can then come to know why they did it.


— Talking To Ourselves —

When we converse with ourselves, it is our
Higher Consciousness—our larger brain
That questions our lower consciousness
Impulses toward securing, sensation, and power.


— Love —

Putting the needs of others ahead of
Our own produces the byproduct of
Happiness, and reduces stress, for we
No longer have unrealistic expectations.

Acceptance is the key to unlocking the door of the "unreal" the shadow,and allowing us
entrance into expansive consciousness that transcends the temporal,and embraces the
eternal.

Inner alignment and balance are the keys which unlock the real and leave illusion behind.

Understanding and accepting who and what we are,without resistence,a complete letting-go and letting Good in (harmony) open a gravity well that permits a "downflow" of super-
consciousness into our perception field.

Like the little humming bird in the high Andes,each night it "surrenders itself unto the night
and goes into a profound torpor where it dies for a while and is reborn as the sun rises,we
too need to surrender totally to reality and become reborn into it,fully conscious.

Yes the greater level of acceptence of the ever present eternal now aligns one to the ebb and flows of the living currents of electrical energy that eminate from within the field of consciousness and bring about a shift of inner knowingness. The deeper we can push into the now the greater level of acceptence will ensue this will make us more conductive to recieve a downflow of universal consciousness into the waking mind and bring about a deeper and before unrealised idea of just what IS.
