Smile Our vital body is rather important!

The etheric body is fundamentally the most important response aparatus which man possesses, producing not only right functioning of the five senses,
and consequently providing five major points of contact with the tangible
world, but it also enables a man to register sensitively the subtler worlds, and,
when energised and controlled by the soul, the spiritual realms stand wide open also. The etheric body is a potent receiver of impressions, which are
conveyed to the human consciousness through the medium of the awakened
centres. These transmitted impressions and information become the incentive
whereby conscious activity is initiated. There are many words used to describe these forces and their actuating effects;such as impulses, incentives
influences, potencies, desires, aspirations, and many such terms which are only
synonyms for force or energy, and thus convey the same general idea. All of
these words refer to forms of activity of the etheric body, but only as the
physical body registers them, and acts under their impression. This subject is
truly vast,I have but put out a portion to prehaps consider?
    kind regards michael.

    Cool one exception...

Once again Michael, I have to question the idea of "force", as I believe that this is where modern physics has missed the boat. Nothing in nature is about force. Otherwise I believe your characterization of the etheric body is spot-on!

Smile force is the pressure of evolution.

Harmony,We have to be careful, that we
do not trip over a camel, while swallowing a gnat!Maybe you have a thing about the word "force",You are incorrect when you say nothing in nature is
about force,It comes down to words, how do you convey a shading! The
universe is under Pressure, the same Pressure that can enable a mushroom
    to move a paving stone!Irresistible pressure,force,energy,you name it,they
are the same, but what I am trying to convey in this thread,to do with the
etheric body, needs to express shadings, mergings, and energies that operate
outside of our usual understanding of expression, there are dimensional aspects to this,as well, the word force is appropriate in this context, and it does not mean Forced to do anything? It means a form of energy!I hope this
    clarifies the issue,Harmony.
    kind regards michael.

Cool letting go of the gnat...

Michael, maybe we are quibbling about words (LOVE the camel metaphor!). I meant force as in artificially making something do something else, but I can see what you mean. Force as a form of energy, fine. Why is the universe under pressure?

    Harmony,without the
pressure there would be no universe,no manifestation,Zilch! The Pressure
very basically and I would add, factually,is the pressure of absolute focussed
intention!Which expresses its self in physical space as Energy, pure and simple?

    kind regards michael.
