Yeah, absolutely. If we are unable to understand the origin of life yet we are able to understand extinction and how and why it happens, we don't exist. Never did and never will.

We can simply say there is no beginning, which could not result in an ending, yet mortals continue to die... Ho hum...

Then someone can say, well you go to heaven when you die. But I cannot go to heaven when it was created before earth and I go there after my experience on earth. That would mean I never existed on earth making my entrance into heaven contrary to what is required to be in heaven while being on earth.

That's where the tower of babel comes in and since we are able to translate language, communication is the key.

So, to answer the question, Where was God before He created heaven and earth, you have to communicate with other God's and Goddess's to find out where he was hiding.

He was under his mama's skirt.

Sillysally, Hi.

The universe is a morphodite.
It had sex with itself,
Produced its first singularity child.
It had sex with it's child,
The incestuous pervert.
It's brother and sister singularities,
All had sex with each other,
Producing still more singularities,
And finally had sex with humans,
And told us to stop having natural,
Oh my god___incestuous sex.

That's my story of the universe.

regards,
Lloyd

I was discussing this statement with a friend and I understand what you're saying. We would have to be there in (the beginning) in order to be here (in the material) so we can go somewhere when this existance expires. We all want to believe that we go somewhere when this life is over. But suppose this is it, when this is over that's it. We are to make the best of this life and not worry about there being an afterlife. Now that eliminates the existance of a God and the Big Bang beginning makes more sense making everything one big accident. The only problem I have with that is everything would seem so hollow with no substance. Where is the existance of consciousness? The fact that we are aware of existing. I can't believe consciousness was created by accident. I believe consciousness is the power of all that drives everything and it always existed and life (matter) is manifested as a result of it's existance. Heavans and earths are being created as we speak, have been created and will continue to be created. The Big Bang is forever banging................

I agree except about the big bang (this is according to the bible).

According to John 1, light is not literal as in the big bang. In the beginning was the word and the word was God and the word was made flesh. The words come to life eventually. Light is flesh, John was not claiming to be the light, just a witness of the light. He may not have been completely enlightened because enlightenment had not come into the world yet. God said “let there be light!”, this is speaking of Christ consciousness (that is how he was before the world was created, consciousness existed first). Plus John chapter 1 speaks of light shining in darkness but darkness not understanding it. An enlightened person always stands in the shadow of darkness. Water also represents consciousness, that is how Jesus walked on water, he was above the water (as in heaven). We have a tradition in my family (I was raised Eastern Orthodox Christian), before a big event such as the first day of school or marriage, we kick over a cup of water and walk on it. It is for our conscious to flow freely as the stream of water does.

The thing about consciousness is that it is not alive or dead, it is the force that kills our physical bodies (like oil and water not mixing, body being oil and conscious being water). Before Adam and Eve woke up, they lived but died eventually because they were given consciousness. I don't think human conscious is a part of nature (the natural world), although people behave like animals for the most part of life. That is also the separation of above and below water and how people condem themselves, it is seared in the conscious.

Sally, The Word of God is Quick (living) and powerful - this Word is the Formative Sound Of Creation - all Light comes from this Word. The Light & Sound together are the "TAO." While the Light represents Consciousness the Sound-Current represents Spirit or life itself.

Matter is the Light & Sound congealed as particle and wave.

How consciousness kills the physical body I don't understand. Your opinion being based on one book makes it hard for me to accept. You being a Christian (no disrespect my mother is christian, so are many of my family and friends) tend to see everything through the bible only. My advice to my family and friends is to open your mind and knowledge to other religions and science, things can become clearer.

Very interesting consept. I can visualize what you are saying. But I see The light that you speak of was always. Therefore the sound that is the result of the light was always. No beginning and no end. Where was God? Right here. Thank-you for that thought.

To answer the question posed in this threads opening title, would be like trying to place an
absolute being in a location?Which of course would be totally absurd! The question assumes, quiet wrongly, that there is a specific place for God!Which again is absurd. So there is no real answer to the question, other than that God just IS!

Exqueeze me? First of all, open minds are able to accept and integrate anything. Secondly, I am not a Christian, I was raised Eastern Orthodox, that was not my choice. Thirdly, consciousness does not stick the the physical body when the body dies (hence the oild and water reference), it is not a part of nature otherwise all animals would be like humans. Consciousness works against the body because we are aware of our bodies aging, we see the physical changes and do what we can within our power to prevent or reverse it physically sometimes (surgeries, creams, fitness). Our conscious controls every aspact of most of our nature except for the aging and death. You are aware of physical death, right? Ever think of that mr. telling me to use my mind more? Finally, go tell it to your family and friends some more advice, I am sure they love listening to you telling them to open their minds more.

Ps. A Christian quote goes something like this, pull the panties out of your butt first before you go around trying to give other people wedgies. Sorry if I just love the bible! It's my favorite book, I love how God smears dung in peoples faces!
