    Re: Science 'versus' God?

Well if it is really Science vs God ( which I don't really think it is. ) Then my money is on God.

Actually I think God uses the natural laws,( for his wonders to perform.) i.e. Evolution, gravity, EMR. etc.

    Best to all,

    Pat

I am the god of apathy, and I don't bring much of anything, really.

People look after the things they have affection for. It is thus essential that we learn to have affection for the planet that sustains us.

"The sense of threat from every quarter of what is known as the Establishment – which is to say, of modern civilization – is not altogether a put-on or an act for many of these young folk, but an actual condition of soul. The break-off is real, and what is being bombed and blown up outside are actual symbols of interior fears." - Joseph Campbell

Life has its ironies but we can ignore the "letter of the law" and see the intention behind it - have mercy spelling isn't everything U C David is deliberately ironic.

Ah, you know him that well, do you? - And, there is a purpose behind falsity?

He claims to be on the 'side' of science, so is science also 'deliberately ironic', do you think? - Or is it just an honest search for truth?

How about changing the thread to: 'People versus themselves'?

Talk this over with David - I'm not sure of the issues here.

Who knows? - Perhaps he'll disregard his own piffle, and become fluent, in Truth?
