    Hi Max,

I don't think you are being honest with yourself. If, as you say, you are a physicist you are a member of the congregation of believers in Scientism which is mostly "just stuff someone made up" (Big Bang for example)

When I come into a group of scientists and try to relate some alternate piece of Truth I've found, the reaction is the same as when I approach a Christian group with something that doesn't fit their interpretation of Truth. The elders of the church, or congregation say, we don't have to listen to you because you are not a member. The only reason we allow you in is to help you see it our way.

    No offense intended.

The simple 'something' gave rise to the ever more complex. This is true but goes AGAINST nature, which breaks down to the simpliest.

I do not believe in science.

The Big Bang did not happen the way it is described, it wasn't big, it wasn't a bang. I usually just refer to it as the unfolding of the Universe.

I am not a follower of scientism, they don't exist.

Science is not a religion, it is not stuff someone made up. It is observation, it is experimentation, it is eliminating that which does not fit the data from what is left, and then it is knowing that what is left may not be the truth.

It is questioning everything, it is walking around with your eyes open, and your mind the same.

From first principles, I have figured this stuff out myself, I've taken what has been worked out before me, studied it, and discarded it to see if I arrive at the same results.

I do not think science is true, I think the Universe is true, and science is the method by which I gain understanding about the Universe.

Mathematicians are the only people anywhere who have ever had a sense of what an absolute truth is, the rest of us can only hope for a semblance of that.

The initial 'something' is too simple to be a fully formed infinitely complex being.

The universe came from the 'something'.

Simple —> complex is the way of nature is probably what you meant to say, Prof. Quarks to protons to stars to elements to molecules to cells, etc.,

Orderly arrangements of states are simple.

The breaking of that order produces the interesting complexity we find around us, and tends towards a loss of order entirely, a state beyond complexity, as it is beyond definition.

No nature follows the simple, Austin, not the complex. Our visible physical universe is the phenomenon. Your cell structure and indeed life and awareness is what we can't comprehend or explain. We too should be simple dark stuff, which makes up ~95% of our universe.

    Best to you Austin,

Nature progresses from the simple to the more complex.

There were only bacterial microbes way back, who discarded oxygen. Now we are here to breath that oxygen.

I forgot, entropy which will break all of our complex structures down to it's most basic element. We are unique Austin.

Only in the summer Austin. But eventually I'll return to " dust " as will the rest of the universe ( maybe ).

BTW I believe science is still mystified by the cell structure.

    Sculpting the Ribosome
Eukaryotic ribosomes are shaped from a 90S precursor—a process that requires approximately 200 assembly factors that need to be removed when their task is completed. Here, Hurt and colleagues show that an AAA-type ATPase is essential for the removal of assembly factors, serving as a power tool to shape the ribosome.
