Hi Greg...well I do declare, I think I have just been insulted....but the intellectual knows how to insult with obscure words for if you said that to the average man or woman who does not study they would have no clue that you just told them the amount of their knowledge holds a recognizable smallness....No you would not be fools yet neither would I dear....

Hi Dave...you seem to keep mixing me up with the religious...I am a researcher and a scholar. I believe nothing and question everything. I am fully aware of such things as "dangerous to the wellbeing of all humans" and our present growing ability to see our own historical story of danger...

mixing me up with the religious...
(They are going to ask you, Mikal, why the bible is authoritative in the symbolical way and if "God" wrote/inspired it to be, as they believe nothing and question everything…)
…and if they did, Mikal, you would say?
Hi Greg...sorry if you think I offended you! I was not making an official announcement of anything....this is a discussion forum and this subject matter would fit into the subject matter of the thread. I am not an average person who has just accepted what society has told us to believe, I study and question what society has expected us to just accept with blind faith....
Hi Austie...I highly doubt God had his hand in the writing of the Bible! I highly doubt there is a hand to be involved...I would not say the Bible in a symbolic way gives commands, orders or enforces obedience, I would just say it is authored symbolically for those willing to take it to intuitive and conceptual openness...
I could say to you after passing through a huge crisis...."I have just survived an earthquake"....if you intuitively received my verbal expression you would understand that I am saying that the foundation of my life has trembled, everything has fallen into shattered ruins, I have been shaken...etc...etc. Symbolic expression is emotional in content and context because it comes from deeper depths...its referred to as the psyche speaking....
Mikal

You mean that they [the various authors] somehow got together and made it symbolic on purpose, all of them knowing the evolving consciousness stuff and how to encode it, so to speak?
Or that they didn't write it symbolically, but you [experts] wish to interpret it as such as a mental exercise?
Is there a way that you could speak more plainly, instead of phrases like "conceptual openness"?
Hi Austie...Yes the Bible's authors purposely scripted the Bible symbolically. They left it behind for future generations to utilize because the ancient societies were rich in mystery schools deeply involved in consciousness rising techniques. When the Romans quashed the Gnostics their scribes invested into the Bible what Greg referred to as otherwise moral directives and platitudes. The Romans were the governing factor of their society when they drove the mystery schools underground, they scribed moral additives to the Bible because if you want the power of governance over the masses you must supplant them in fear and take over the power of their faith. Nasty goings on in our history...they just did not know the Gnostics hid all the excluded Bible stories in the Qumram Caves and deep in the earth. When they surfaced and that came to light historians knew history had been tampered with.
There are states of awareness...intuitive and conceptual openness are two of them.
I will give you a good example of symbolism....afew years back I became very close to a male friend. This was not a sexual relationship but more emotional in nature. One day his friend commented to him..."I see you and Bev are close.." He replied..."yes one day I have an electric blanket and the next a popsicle." He was telling him..."one day Bev is warm and loving and the next cool and aloof." Well it was a good symbolic representation of our relationship because he had a reputation of playing heart and head games...so yes I was warm and loving but for lack of trust I could also suddenly become cool and aloof. Emotional relationships are deeper and if they become intense they can intuitively open us up....I fully understood what his comment made so of course I chuckled when he related this back to me....
