Re: Is it possible to prove the non-existence of God?

we are not here as physical beings for nothing.... [blah blah]

'Tis but vanity and imagination and extremely made up to speak for the origin of the universe, assuming even that it has Intent and could "speak" and have a purpose [making it a Mind system and therefore not fundamental at all].

What is holy-holy and spiritual about particles and forces but that humans wanted it to be so?

Re: Is it possible to prove the non-existence of God?

Sometimes I get my posts ready in advance, so here's one… for whomever is posting next… [or was going to…] Enjoy these silly human tricks…

Oh, my, not only are you spiritualists full of it [making things up], but you even tell each others’ varieties that they are full of it. What a grand mess!

You do not even know if the origin of the universe has a purpose for humankind… yet you all state it as gospel. Please see my superstition thread.

If I were to ask some of you about the purpose of humans, I might get differing answers like these, all saying as well that they know it for sure:

“God was all loving and so He made the Universe for us to enjoy. No strings attached. The end.”

“God wanted to know Himself from the outside.”

“Life is a test by God and Heaven or Hell awaits us.”

“There are many Gods and we will come to be like them as we rise up that way through reincarnation [or down the other way to become lower animals].”

“God really made human nature to be exactly the way it is, full of flaws. We don’t know why.”

“God is opposed to some of human nature, the ego, that came from [not Him] and wishes us to remove this ego.”

“We have a soul that gets used for everything, not the brain.”

“God created the universe and then went away [a Deity, not a Theity] letting evolution take over. We don’t know why.”

“God is not a person, just [well, can’t say]”

“All is illusion of a dream of an Awareness.”

“God guided evolution along for some reason.”

“The Bible shows the right way and is true.”

“The Bible’s events are fake and are symbolic of something else.”

    “Humans are special.”

    “All is consciousness.”

    “All is one.”

    “The Universe is God.”

    “Allah is the truth.”

“Mormons know the right purpose of man; also women are here to serve man” [other sure people say this, too, since Eve was created for Adam]

“The end is coming” [in 2012]

“Jesus was not divine, so ignore his purpose for man.”

    "Nothing can move."

    ad infinitum…

Yes, there must be a purpose and it is [take your pick of proclamations and pronouncements made by human mammals]

Oh my, the things humans have said and claimed throughout history that now lie in the dust! And so they still do, as they still do so many absurd things… on and on…

They can certainly have no legitimacy unless they are peer reviewed. There are good reasons for this.

Laying there in the cool of the earth, he began to visualise what it would be like to be dead. How would it feel. For a short while he dozed. He was awoken by a noise.

It flashed into his mind that the good and bad recording Angels of Reckoning, Munkir and Nakir, were coming for him. But it was really only a Camel Caravan passing by. In a terrible panic, he scaled the sides of the grave, ran towards the perimeter and tripped over the fence, right in front of the Caravan.

The frightened Camels stampeded and the angry Camelteers rushed upon him and thrashed him with sticks. He fled home in a distressed state.

His wife asked him what was the matter and why was he late.

"I have been dead", said Nasrudin

Interested for once, despite the many years she had been married to him, she asked,

    "What was it like?"

"Not to bad at all", Nasrudin replied, "unless you upset the Camels, then they beat you with sticks"

This thread is certainly "dead" in that spiritualists cannot answer most post content, but that is to be expected of the "neglect" induced by attending to the more real invisible…

    Anyway,

And the #1 purpose of humankind,
made up by silly humans is:
to adore a Perfect God who wouldn’t even need adoration!

OK I don't want to speak for God, but maybe a Perfect God requires loving as we do. Freely and unconditionally.

Good old ggullet, you are a man of few words.

Now, don't get mad, for I am actually being part humorous and of course I have no choice:

    There is omnipotence.

    God Gullet speaks,

    for He knows All,

even as much as God knows…

    Hail to gg!

    He speaks for God Almighty.
