My father always said ' Whatever actions you perform during your lifetime will be rewarded or punished here itself'. You dont need Hell or Heaven or God to judge you. They are just concepts..

Though some people don't see 'pain', but are spurred on to learn how to avoid 'regret' altogether. Such people see opportunity to learn from all actions of their existence.

The 'regret' comes from an error of judgment in the first place, causing expectation which could not be manifested into the reality.

I agree with your father Dipayankar. I assume you are referring to Karma here, which begs the question where does that come from?

Best to all,

Pat

Re: God

Its not exactlt Karma here. Let me give you an example, if you harm someone, there is a fair chance that you will be harmed back by that person. If you help someone then that person will help you bak in someway or the other. It does not depend on God or heaven or hell

Re: God

Welcome to the Toequest forum Hardik Gami.

I noticed from your zoints that you are a young gentleman from India. A number of our members are from your beautiful country. Others are throughout the world. I'm from the United States.

Your response is a very honest answer Hardik, and probably expresses the thoughts of many people.

Myself I am a theist, though I belong to no organized religion. I've incorporated Taoism, Hinduism, Buddism. Judism. Islamism, Christianity and others into my personal belief system.

Good luck on your quest for understanding T.O.E.

Very best,

Pat

Re: God

hi Hardik Garmi

well i tend to have the same thoughts but find them hard to believe in, i dont believe in god but yet i fear god but i realy do hope there is a god and if or when i find out that there is then i am not sure how i will feel or think
so i try to look at god being a creative force
dont worry to much about your student friends Hardik its not that they think your from backword school they are just not willing to comprehend what you are saying and there reaction is natural and personaly when i come accross people like this i save my thoughts for someone who will try to and join a discussion about them and share theres

Re: God

We have a song here in America that has these words in it " I don't believe in Heaven, and I pray there ain't no Hell "

Asking all types of questions is a sign of intelligence, and honesty is a sign of greatness.

Best to you both,

Pat

Re: God

(FOOD FOR THOUGHT)
"Doubts are raised whether God exists or not. Those who affirm that God exists and those who deny are equally incompetent to say anything about God if they know nothing about the nature of God... God is Omnipresent. There is no need to search for Him anywhere. Everything that we see is a manifestation of God. Wherever we are, there is God. There can be no greater folly than to deny the existence of God when the whole cosmos bears witness to His handiwork. Everything in creation must be viewed as a manifestation of God. Only with this basic faith can one develop one's human personality".
