You would think that 'that Austin' would know all this by now. Do you think he will ever improve Mikal ?
I just don't know where you get the patience.

Hi cool bananas...how are you?? I read somewhere in the threads that you were busy with moving and the season...is that recent??
Anyhoo..I am challenged to debate and discuss with Austin. We are on opposite poles which makes discussion worthwhile...smiles...
The best to you...Mikal
If I see a train coming and your on the track...if I don't tell you, it will be a pity for you and a shame on me....
The 10 Commandments are also structured into History. They too have a deeper meaning only derived intuitively and cognitively...
OK, I derived them:
Austin, remnants of the Ten Commandments are found in the pre-Israelite civilizations also in the Egyptian Book of the Dead. Only in the latter the transmission is I have not killed, I have not stolen...etc.
So here we see a revision, also the Bible being brought to the attention of cultural consciousness which makes it seem much like ongoing development of religion and morality in the ancient civilizations.
Yes, you have surely taken the action of producing a clear image of the Commandments but that is not deriving intuitive meaning from them...
Regards Mikal

Well, then, we have it that the writers of the Bible wrote false history, this still being preached by all the clergy of Christendom, such as the history of Noah and Moses, plus more myth on top of that which is only known to some experts, who, again, didn't inform the Pope.
And this is a way to get the word out?
And that Egyptian book is better off dead unless the mummies return.
perhaps the interpretation of creation/evolution need more thought and... don't know concideration.
PEACE

The fossils tell the story, but some old fossils don't believe what is there, preferring to go by what is not there (invisible).
Also, since a ground-state cannot come from Nothing, there never was any creation. The tiny ground-state was always around, tiny because it is the residual after all the conserved energies cancel out, gravity being negative and stuff being positive.
From the Book of the Dead:
The Dead Arise
The sermon preached
But it did not reach,
For no one moved
Or made a peep,
They being more
Than asleep.
Is it to the dead
That I drone and read?
The sermon sum
Was finally done
And stirrings drew
From a few,
Then all this life knew,
From their dreams of fun,
Rushing out as one.
The Quick and the Dead
The sermonizer tired
Of preaching to the choir,
So he reached out to the dead,
Pontificating, lecturing to them instead—
That counseling expounding advisor;
But the dead became none the wiser.
