The soul, human, and otherwise, what lies at the back of it,what animates
the soul, what gives it its properties, the answer to this I suggest is that
behind the manifestation of soul, life, consciousness, planets.,and universes.
is a entity.called for want of a better name, spirit,a infinite ocean of unmanifested energy, consciousness, boundless potentual force.
This spirit seems to clothe itself in what we call soul,in order to move
from out of the nomenon state and become phenomenon, and detectable
to our senses.
I would suggest that all phenomenon, has within itself a soul, that which gives it form and substance.and also that all things have a level of consciousness
from the humblest grain of sand to a human being, and beyond.
the universe needs to wear clothes, the cloth is the soul, the supplier
of the materials the ocean of spirit.
I feel that if we humbly look within,we will see our soul looking at us,
maybe we could say Hi.
regards michael.

How about the opposite: Void of collective knowledge, void of common intelligence in a sea of dark matter, constantly being torn between the forces it created itself. Suns being born and suns dying in an infinite struggle against the inevitable end of maximum disorder. No one sees and no one hears because no one is here to see or hear. All this vastness, all this energy, specks of light, matter ablaze, a fog glowing in darkness, suspended in eerie shapes. But there is warmth and there is one lonely observer. Autonomous matter on a rock sprung consciousness and conscience, an awareness of itself. A product of evolution within the great expanse. The system woke up and is looking at itself only to find that there is no one looking back. What does it all mean? Why are we here? What comes next? Questions emanating into cold space, questions that have no meaning in a world without eyes nor ears. Question without a meaning in a reality without a soul

Pardon me, How do you compare soul and aether. Soul is really a new topic for my thinking for I never considered it. Is soul- conciousness with a shape. Shape I don't mean shape but I mean is it the expression of conciousness. Or is conciousness the expression of soul????? That's the secret to life... replace one worry with another.

I have often questioned whether 'space' is soul. I am only just coming to the aether theory and if indeed it is true, then I think that aether would be soul (but perhaps this depends on your definitions?) The first is only interesting if it is the beginning of something. The first is not interesting if it is the only - Djanet Sears

embodied could fit the bill for soul, then what about the aether!Well indeed
that could too!For existance to exist,to manifest form,to be formed from within,in-formed,is about having something to encloth the idea and give it substance, that is where these two heros rush in to assist, they are of course
when examined at an absolute level, exactly the same?

Soon a shift in consciousness brought about by the mass of humanity that have found their soul and then share their experience of it,a quantum phase shift is about to occur,
be ready to become introduced to that stranger within yourself...your human soul.
