    Question Do You See Things?

I...see...things. Not the future, just...things. As I got into my 30's it became somewhat acute. Does anyone else see things? I want to know the nature of electricity. Which is unknown. Or is it?

Here's something though. An observer can look at light as a wave or as particles. I chose particles. How many particles (photons) does it take to illuminate a 1" cube per second?

    Red face

I have seen things, seen through things, watched solid objects turn wavy and transparent. I was also severely anemic and had to have 2 units of blood transfused into me immediately. My hemoglobin had dropped to about 7. I saw figures on my heart monitor that I know do not exist.

Our minds are very sensitive and very susceptible to hallucinations when we are not well. I would tell you to enjoy the visions while they last. Some of them can be quite entertaining and downright hilarious. I mean really, little fairies on a heart monitor singing about a Bose style heart attack. It was the anemia, but I wouldn't trade that little glimpse for anything.

Welcome to the forums. You are not alone in seeing things, but I hope you are well, unlike my reason for seeing things.

    Light Waves

To illuminate something, it is required to reflect or emit light, so your question has no meaning as stated. If your are asking how many photons per square inch strike a surface then the answer depend on the number of different wavelengths distributed in the light and its intensity.
    Welcome to ToeQuest Cecil.

BTW: Light is a wave and not a traveling particle called a photon. The photon represents the quantitative increment of measure of energy absorbed or emitted.

Thank you, I am astounded as to how many people think of light as chunks of something

I don't see things. I am the opposite, I have become aware of human limitations. With age, I have grown increasingly frustrated and dissapointed at our language's inability to express thoughts from my head. I get sparks of total enlightenment, where if the right words would exist, I could understand and explain everything, only to be followed by days of complete mental dullness and voids. Am I alone?

Unfortunately, you are not alone. The voids are part of the human condition, I guess. Not every thought is profound and articulate and soaring. But some will be, and I hope you share them with us. And forgive us our dull moments. Keep the lines of communication open and I hope you won't be disappointed.
