I think we have a common view of those people who publish for tennure rather than getting tennure for publishing, if you see the difference.

I have tried it with a greater level of success than I thought would be possible. Rather than calling it "energy" though, I prefer to simply call it "matter" or fundamental matter. Energy gives the illusion of something without physical reality; it is the result of the motion of fundamental matter.

the only problem with refering to single entity as matter, is that matter implies volume and mass. What I was refering to is a theory where the only entity you have is a dimensionless one, and then take it from there.
Essentially you start with !NULL and expand on it. What the !NULL stands for is of little consequence, the point is that it is NOT NULL.

Well maybe quantum foam, acquiescence, or some other new name would be appropriate, but both matter and energy have their links of chain that have been forged throughout history. I have no quarrel with what one wishes to call it, just as long as it can be realized that it is the entity that produces physical existence and was the substance of the object referred to as a singularity in current BB theory.

BTW, I do have a problem with the something from the absolute nothing concept of the BB. This also means that I really don't buy into most concepts of "In the beginning". The event that produced our universe is only a suitable starting point to define "moment zero" for our universal realm.

You should start a thread in one of the other forums and let us get to know your thoughts and views of realty and the TOE. If you want to know or find out if others have similar views to you, just go to their profile page and click on the "Threads started by ……." entry. There are many interesting ideas on the forum and of course many not so interesting and some down right funny.

You're right, there needs to be another name for the Essence of the Universe. As you say, Energy and Matter have a lot of history.

I tend to agree with you about the BB. I think the BB did happen, but at some T+, the + being quite some time after the initial formation of the Universe. Think of it as the very first super nova, where all the matter in the Universe existed in the form of the ulitmate Star.
