I'm not quite a new member but i have been visiting this site for a while I must say that there are a lot of interesting ideas expressed in the forums here that i normally wouldent see in a physics class.
I especially like the wisp theory of wisp and steadybang theory of battybat that try to get away from the classic physics model. I too dont like the bullet particle model of classic physics.
I also believe Quantum Mechanics and Reletivity have many flaws in them.
I personnaly dont have any physics degrees at the moment but i plan on going to school for my bachelors (and hopefully) my masters and PHD starting next year (as soon as i can pay for it XD).
I have been working on a theory of my own that also tries to pull away from conventional physics that is geared more toward trying to explain current observations on the nature of matter, space and time accepted by mainstream physics as misconceptions created by human perception and are in fact hurting our understanding of the world around us. Its currently a work in progress and I think it might have some potential but will be hard to formulate into an actual theory that can be accepted by mainstream physics.
