I'm too dumb for most of this stuff... I just like to look at the pictures. I especially like the current news articles, and will often pretend I understand them.

Truth be told, I did make a book recommendation.

And I think I've been around since damn near the start TOE Quest.

    Found your recommendation

I read the original version back in 2001... gave it to a friend and haven't gotten it back. I understand it has since been revised and reprinted.

Easy to read, well explained concepts using analogies, and not mathematically burdensome (for my piddly engineer's brain).
Truth was told. I found your book recommendation! You recommended "The Elegant Universe" by Brian Greene on Dec 21, 2003. An excellent book too! Have you read Dr Greene's latest book, "The Fabric of the Cosmos"? Another excellent book. Nice to have you hanging around for soo long .

Not yet.... been focusing on history and professional books.

PS... You've done one helluva job with the web site since I joined. The effort compells me to make a donation to a fellow late-night hobby addict. I'm feeling charitable so how about I DOUBLE your last year's income (=$30?). Give me chance to finish moving from San Diego to DC, first.

    Good luck on your move

Thanks for the compliment! Also, any donation you could provide would sure be appreciated. Good luck on your move to DC. I bet you're gonna be missing San Diego though. I was there once as a kid, 30 years ago, and it was beautiful!

    You made my day!

Hi Glenn. Sure hope your move to DC went well. It might take a while to get used to the weather. And welcome to the TOE Club! Now, maybe my wife will appreciate my hobby more. She just gets nervous when I tell her I'm gonna quit my day job to do this full time If only it were so. I see you took advantage of your custom title TOE Club benefit right away. Nice one. Anyway, see you around. And thanks again for the donation!
