    Hello from tedjay

    Hi my name is Ted Jaeckel. I live in a lovely village called Irene, which is near Pretoria in South Africa. As they say in Sotho (which is the local black language) I am Madala or Old Man, which applies pretty much to everyone over the age of 50 or so, and in contrast to western culture, is a sign of respect. Unfortunately I am a Madala Madala being 72 hopefully going on 73. I am partially disabled with Post Polio Syndrome, which thankfully seems to have left the grey matter intact.
    I attended school in the dark ages at Christian Brothers College in Kimberley the days when black gowned Brothers, leather strap in hand, imposed. strict discipline. It must have worked because I went to College on the strength of a number of bursaries and qualified as a Civil Engineer. My passion for physics was sparked when my dear wife made the mistake of buying me a great book on physics and then had to endure the vague and mostly unintelligible mutterings of a physics-besotted husband for the next 25 years!
    That ultimately resulted in the publication this year of a TOE book called The God Particle. You can get a look at www.tedjaeckel.com . Better late than never!
    I found this site with a Google search and have found it to be most interesting. Î never dreamed that so many people could have their own TOEs.
    My personal perspective on TOE's is that if they do not address a good proportion of the outstanding problems in physics, then they cannot claim to be TOEs. The list of unknowns includes:-
    * The fundamental mechanisms of gravity the strong nuclear force, the weak nuclear force, and the electromagnetic force.
    * The makeup of the electron, proton, neutron positron and other primary particles.
    * The meanings of charge and field.
    * Missing matter in the universe and what causes accelerated expansion.
    * The origin of short duration Gamma Ray bursts.
    * Resolving Relativity anomalies
    * Why Relativity and Quantum theory do not agree.
    * How mass is converted to energy.
    * The nature of Plank's Constant,
    * Why it is impossible to give physical meaning to quantum events.
    * How light is emitted from the atom.
    * How the electron circumnavigates the atom.
    * A solution to the double slit single particle problem.
    * Solution of the particle/wave problem.
    * Why E=mc2 works
    * What causes inertia
    * A solution to the paranormal outcomes of Quantum Physics and indeterminacy.

    There are many more but a TOE that addresses at least the majority of the above puzzles should be extendable to the rest. It has been a long intro and for that I apologise. I will now get off my soapbox and wish everyone success in pursuing their TOEs.

    Thanks Ted,have briefly looked through your web-link,looks very interesting indeed,
    The God particle will become large enough for all of us to realize its potential!

    Hope you can spend more time here Ted,we need thinkers likeyou on this forum,take care.

    Re: Hello from tedjay

    Hi Ted;
    Welcome to ToeQuest.

    I would like to ask: “What is the substance used to create your fundamental particle?” (That’s just a rhetorical question!) As an engineer you should know that you must first define what you are going to make the particles out of. This substance must also have the required fundamental properties that allow it to form particles, produce the forces of nature, the atomic structures and the universe itself. Another thing; you can’t use magic. I would strongly suggest you acquire a better comprehension of Relativity and Quantum theories if you are going to use them or criticize them.

    You have managed to travel the first mile of a 100 mile journey. The next 99 are the hardest.

    Hello David

    Thank you for your response. You might have some points worth debating, but after looking at your previous posts and the reaction of other members Î do not think I will rise to your bait.
    Regards,
    Ted Jaeckel.

    Hi Ted;

    My name is Pat and would be interested in your theory, but do I have to buy the book, or can you give us a synopsis of it?

    If you like you can view my theory for free at:
    (http://www.toequest.com/forum/yourto...2803-idea.html ) You'll have to access it through a PDF file.

    In the meantime Welcome

    Pat

    Re: Hello from tedjay

    Hi Pat,

    Thanks for the interest. The theory in the book is both highly detailed and extremely broad-ranging, from the sub-sub-atomic to the Cosmic. It contains perhaps 30 major outcomes over 208 pages and as such is extremely difficult to summarise or shorten and at the same time retain any sort of credibility.
    That said I have already prepared a number of postings to show a few of the major outcomes, giving at the start of each article a highly condensed foundational model of what I have called Zeron Theory. It's the best I can do short of posting the entire book in which case the publisher would not be amused! I expect a flood of questions.
    I tried to access your pdf file but got a notice that I was not permitted to acess it. Will try and find out why.

    Regards

    tedjay

    Sorry/glad to inform you that when I read this old (3-yrs) thread of toequest.com http://www.toequest.com/forum/forces-nature/9-the-cause-gravity.html
    started by Mr. Kevin Harkess in England, I noticed that both theories based on similar concepts and have wide coverages. http://www.kevin.harkess.btinternet....roduction.html

    Yet I am glad to congratulate both of you who have made independent theorizations. Great minds are alike. And ATM (Against The Mainstream) theories are now proved not alone.

    Please have a look.

    Best Regards. Bottomlander

    Thanks very much for being so alert and drawing my attention to ths thread. Very exciting! I shall be having a good look at wisps over the next few days.

    Kind Regards
