I am more of a lurker than a poster. I like to compare ideas and poke holes in them. I wouldn't say i beleive nothing, but i beleive that knowing is, at it's very best, an imperfect endevour, and so it is very important not to get too comfortable, if you know what i mean?

I'm really enjoying a lot of the insights and logical flaws that i am finding on this forum. Thank you all for contributing!

Hello Stalky. With a TOE Club subscription you can make yourself invisible. That is, you can lurk all you want and nobody will see your name in the "Whos Online" list.

But seriously, what is really difficult, is to know that you don't really know what you think you know. We should always question our beliefs, re-examine them in light of new evidence, be ready to change them to sync up more closely with reality. There are many components in our biology/psychology that limit our ability to know what is truth or falsehood. These things we should try to overcome (not get comfortable with).
