Hello ToeQuest members - 12-28-2007, 04:16 AM

Hello,

I am Dimsun from Rotterdam in the Netherlands. I am a software developer.
I studied Biology in Leiden. So I am not a physicist. but I am interested in many different areas of science. The hard sciences but also soft sciences like mythology, languages, psychology, magic and religion, philosophy. I am not a softy or 'super' myself, but more an ultradarwinist and a Bright.

In math I am interested in hypercomplex numbers and Clifford algebra. And I am trying to understand tensors. I don't know anything about the math of quantum mechanics.
I always like to simplify difficult subjects to really understand them. to try to understand physics in terms of classical mechanics the way Einstein developed his special and general relativity theories. Maybe because of my lack of knowledge about the math of quantum mechanics.

My 'unique' perspective is to think about what quantities really are, and their relationship with the world we see around us. I think that subject is neglected to much. I haven't published anything yet, but maybe in the near future.

Dimsun.
