Hello Toequesters - 02-07-2008, 01:05 PM

I grew up in a family of eccentric Southern doctors in West Tennessee. Much to the consternation of my father, grandfather, etc., I decided not to be the next M.D. in the line and studied, first philosophy and then psychobiology, receiving a Master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1968. I began using a motion picture camera in my research, took it home to do my own "underground" films, hooked up with other film makers, was invited to join a production company and, much to the consternation of my program adviser, left the psychobiology Ph.D. program (and the grant money) before completing my dissertation. I relocated to San Francisco in 1970 and - part time - to Prescott, Arizona in 2007. Along with a widely varied film and video production career all these years, I have continued my reading, speculating and writing re the "Big Questions". I am generally familiar with quantum theory and have kept up with my explorations of Eastern as well as Western philosophy, spirituality, consciousness studies, etc. The ideas I will be presenting on Toequest will probably be interpreted as looking at familiar material from odd angles. e.g. God's Big TOE is usually taken to mean God's Big Theory of Everything. In my writings TOE stands for Theater of
Everything, which winds up containing a Theory of Everything. I have long been accused of being a Toeist, so here I am...
