TOE Philospher - 06-09-2008, 03:18 PM

Greetings,

Allow me to introduce myself. Rich A Nelon, I am the founder of Rich Energy and Rich Energy Density Theory ( RERED ). I wish to share my theory with the world however I need exposure. I am capable of acquiring all understood physical equations and several totally missing ones as well. This theory may be what physicist call their red herring The Universal Equation. I do wish to prove my capabilities, and I can but I need your help. I need donations, critics, and collective collaborations. I have determined that I wish to incorporate this theory into The Theory of Everything. With enough support I can finally accomplish Laplace's dream of determining determinism.

Hi Rich;

Welcome to the forum. I think you'll enjoy this site that Robert has established for the members. So are you a determinist? I'm more a believer in probability theory which allows for freedom. Degree of freedom, asymptotic freedom, the limited freedom that you and I enjoy. Determinism, in it's most restrictive form, takes away all freedom, in that everything is determined.

Just some quick thoughts I wanted to share with you.

Best,

Pat

Hi, I was not exactly sure where and how to dive in, but this is my first post. I am John Benson. I live in Southern California. My educational background is the usual pre-Med curriculum, and then Medical School. I have always had an amateur interest in the philosophy of science. I did surgery for several years but then re-trained as a psychiatrist; I have always been interested in the brain, consciousness, usw, etc. Got quite intrigued with Quantum theories/approaches to the Big Problem of consciousness.

I was a math and chemistry nut as a younger guy, and absolutely over-awed by the universe, the night sky, and Big Ideas. I googled Theory of Everything a while back, and realized that I hadn't taken that plunge on the 'net. I might have gotten, indirectly, to this site after I read Garret Lisi's stuff, and clicked a few more things.

So this is my hello to this community. It is late tonight; I will soon spend even more time reading my way around the site. I can assure you, uh, that I will NOT be coming up with original TOE's but will follow with the keen interest of an overgrown boy scientist and adult dilettante the ideas you all throw into the mix.

I hope that this is an adequate Maiden Poste. Looking forward to more Big Ideas..... all the best, John

Hi John, welcome to the Toequest Forum. My children and grandson live in San Diego. I'm planning to visit them next month. When and if I retire from teaching I would like to relocate there. I taught at Cal Poly in SLO for a couple of years and enjoy the area. Presently I'm an accounting professor at a midwest university.

I have my own theory, which you may be interested in viewing, in that within the inner dimensions, of the proton/neutron, I attempt to explain how they may affect the dynamics of man.

It's located at:

( http://www.toequest.com/forum/your-t...2803-idea.html ) You'll have to access it through a PDF File or go to post #40 on that thread.

You are also, invited Rich, to view it. Any input, comments or questions can be posted at that thread.

I'm looking forward to posts from both of you gentlemen elsewhere throughout this site.

Very best,

Pat
