Hi Y'all - 06-22-2008, 11:11 PM

I am an old country lady from right outside New Orleans, who happened upon this forum quite by accident as I was reading about very basic quantam physics on the net and The Theory of Everything was mentioned. When I did a TOE search it brought me here.

I am uneducated, never completed the 10th grade, so I am sure I cannot contribute to the interesting threads of the free thinking, inquisitive and brilliant minds that I see posting here. I thought I could just sneak in and secretely feed my craving for knowledge and none would be the wiser but every time I do, some persistant guy named Robert is insisting that I introduce myself! LOL

I am so hoping that my hanging around will be tolerated. I am fascinated with the topics and the thoughts and ideas of others. Don't understand half of what I read but am happy with what I can comprehend. May I stay, Please?

Hi Curious......join the club of the "uneducated" but you will be surprised about how many Forums you actually will be able to participate in and contribute to that are not too technical/scientific.....just hunt around the Index board.....so here's to meeting up again on ToeQuest.

Tina

hello Curious,

We're practically neighbors (considering the miles between most members here). I live about four hours north of you; about half-way between Alexandria and Shreveport, near Natchitoches. It's nice to see someone else from Louisiana on the forum and I hope you decide to stay for a while.

I think you'll find a friendly atmosphere here that accepts all levels of knowledge and curiosity, and as Tina implied; there are many threads that would surely benefit from the thoughts and ideas of an "old country lady" such as yourself.

Hopefully someday, those of us here with our own theories of everything will be able to refine them to a point where even the most modest people among us will be able to understand them and take part in their discussion at some level. A college degree can certainly help in formulating a ToE, but the essence of a true ToE is the hope that no such degree would be required to understand it, once it has been revealed.

your neighbor,

Tim

Hi curious...welcome to the forum....there is a part of the mind not affected by the knowledge of education but greatly affected and cultivated by the deep rhythms of our life's loves and losses...joys and sorrows...and our bright and dark days. As...as you say..an old country lady...would contain all that...that is what you will bring here...share here and with it...help to bless all our lives with the wisdom of your years...

Smiles and peace Mikal

A Big Thanks to Tina, Mikal and Analog for being so gracious. I have a feeling that I will be spending much of my free time here. I'm so excited! LOL Sue
