missing time

This is going to be a l-o-n-g tutorial, I can tell. ...the observer sees the clock... look, there is no such THING as time in and of itself. How does the observer observe if no kinetic energy takes place? How does the clock move its hands/undergo some change-of-state if no potential energy is downloaded through a kinetic energy change-of-state? t=dKE=m(mass); get used to it, or be left behind on the road to the stars...

absolute time does not exist. But time reckoning based on cyclic phenomena such as sun-rises and sunsets, springs, summers, falls, winters, heart beats for births and deaths, atomic clocks as the vibrations of cesium atom do measure time in a relative sense. But it's the constancy of the oscillations that is critical in keeping accurate time.

the kinetic energy is only part of the process of vibration, potential energy is just as important. And for a time independent isolated system, the sum of kinetic and potential energy is the Hamiltonian function in contrast to the Lagrangian.

slippery slope

You are having a difficult "time" gaining traction on the slippery slope of the learning curve. t=dKE=m=(W>P or W<P) and not-t=PE=M=(W=P). In words, so that you don't confuse symbols : time(t)is delta(d)Kinetic(K)Energy(E)is mass(m)(either inertial or gravitational)is the temporary imbalance(> or <)) between matter wave energy(W)and matter(fermion)Particle velocity(P). "time" is how the 2 great languages of complementarity are stitched together, under running or over running matter wave energy-force, vs matter particle velocity, is what time IS. Then not-time(not-t)is Potential Energy(PE)is Momentum(M)is Wave energy(W)is equal to/in balance with Particle velocity(P). Thus "time" is a quantum movie of dPv/dWs stair tread/risers between Pv=Ws nosing points on the 45 deg diagonal line....but first you have to mentally graduate from your Classical Mechanical World-mind-set before you can go on to a greater understanding; and finally learn how intelligent aliens do the "missing time" trick. So, get your head out of clocks and sunsets...or remain lost in the Lagrangian...

timer,

Can you use your time to describe how to work a fusion engine? This is my objective. I don't care what time really is or is not, as long as I can come up with a working principle for a controlled thermonuclear cold fusion engine similar to the engine inside the sun but at room temperature.
