I'm Ben Saucer, and I just found this forum while browsing the web. I have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and lately have been working as a computer programmer.

I've been interested in subatomic particles since I was eleven or twelve. I try to keep up to date on the latest research, such as the discovery of new particles, etc.

I know that somewhere "out there" the ultimate theory "exists", waiting to be "discovered", that explains the universal laws of nature in a simple concept. I've even played with a few ideas of my own, including "tweaking" around with the Standard Model.

Sounds like you've come to the right place. We also do a lot of "tweaking" with the Standard Model around here.
