Are political scientists allowed? - 07-08-2008, 06:43 PM

Hey,
I'm new here and I come from a pol. sci/philosophy/law background. I was wondering if that's what the administrator menat by an alternative viewpoint. I'm here to broaden my horizon. Dennett's work on concious is my favorite. Hope to hear from ppl here soon.

Probably Dennet explains consciousness away, but that's good, too. At least that's what my narrative center of gravity tells me.

Dennet is like all other theorists but they say David Chalmers is the newest outstanding contribution to the understanding of consciousness...they theorize and we experience consciousness...but the study of the philosophy of mind is fascinating Austie...
