I would beg to differ on lack of free will to rise. Humans have the calculable ability to set and rise with an internal time clock set before you go to sleep.

I through my clocks and watches away years ago. When the ex had the alarm set I would wake one minute from the alarm every time it was set and turn it off because I did not like to hear it waking.

I have had this to many equality of event even in harsh stressfully conditions existence and it has never failed me. Picture a man from another part of the world and you will get my drift. Time is a man made thingy, take your vitamins, work under a full spectrum of light and night work is nothing.

I even felt the four on four off was invigorating working on the trains!

I think you are mixing up gravitational fields with radiant emit. IMHO

    Kind regards g.

If you calculated the strength of the sun's gravity on a kilogram of seawater compared to a kilogram of rock on the seashore, you will find that there is a huge difference in magnitude. This is because the dominant gravitational attraction of the sun is with the Earth's inner core, which creates a flexure of the lithoshpere, causing the seabed to rise.

I can't do the calculations, maybe you can. Try and prove me wrong if you have the inclination.

Another way to resolve the dispute is to consider "what if the Moon had it's own moon, and that moon had a moon and so on." How many times could this happen? If the answer is not "infinite", then what is the limiting factor?

What about this hypothetical question above?

The infinite is the limiting factor itself. It is possible that you can add more moons to system, no matter how many moons there already are. However, that does not mean that it is possible to have an actual infinity of moons. Just that more moons can always be added.

I dare say there will be limiting factor however. Where this will lie will depend on physical rather than mathematical constraints.

I know exactly what you mean. I used to do the same thing. First time I've ever heard anyone describe it so effectively.

The one and only constant. no matter how far you travel in any direction you can always go further. Maybe

    That’s NOT a constant; it’s an axiom.
