    TheRationalGod

    Hi everyone. Nice website.

my name is Rob and I am located in Robin Hood country in England. I found the website through a search though I have seen it a number of times in the past and never stopped for long. I have always been too busy.

My interest in theories of everything is a life long one. I just want to know everything and ask questions and seek answers. I think most people do but only the craziest people keep asking those questions over and over and then attempt to answer them.

I graduated in philosophy after some messing around in chemistry and mathematics degrees. I started out as a materialist who figured all the answers would be revealed through material processes but then realised that chemistry was just playing with smells in bottles.

Like I said I then moved into philosophy and did as much in the sphere of philosphy of science as I could. I often brag about doing courses in philosophy of physics and even philosophy of advanced physics, but I seldom mention that I (and most others in the group) didn't have a clue what was being discussed. - A tutor also confessed to not always having a clue what she was teaching which was a major breakthrough for me.

I had devised a simple and complete worldview which seemed to help me understand everything and fit all the components of science and philosophy together. Discussing any part of reality always entailed me wanting to refer back to my scheme and of course to do that I had to then explain the entire scheme first.

So I set out to write it all out. That I have recently completed. It is a theory of everything but it is a scientific or metaphysical description. It is clear, coherent and all embracing, and describes reality in a very simple yet comprehensive way.

The book confronts reality at the very foundations of existence and in so doing answers all the most fundamental questions.

Of course I want to sell the book but don't want to be accused of spamming. I was considering offering some copies but as I don't know anyone, I wouldn't know where to begin or who to offer. So I shall just offer a few links and then make a donation to this website.

    My website is at http://www.therationalgod.com

and the sales page is at http://www.therationalgod.com/scriptalicious.html.

You may think my claims in the sales page are outrageous but I stand by them. The book is great value and if you are interested in theories of everything I am sure you will love it.

    Re: TheRationalGod

Hi Rob...welcome to the forum. I followed your link and can certainly identify with your thought that God is the Universe. I did not have that feeling until I experienced an NDE and what seemingly lies behind the nature of reality. I have since lived with the conviction that we need to understand our place in the nature of the whole universe, which is kind of a deep thought but never-the-less a curiosity that keeps driving me on...

    Re: TheRationalGod

    Hi Mikal,

I am strongly influenced by Spinoza. I often think TheRationalGod is a post-scientific version of Spinozas metaphysics. TheRationalGod does place humanity in a crucial role in the nature of the universe as a whole and shows just how we are capable of experiencing and understanding the universe. I argue that the structures which underpin the physical reality are the same as those which underpin thought, and explain how this can be the case.
