I've never thought about consciousness in this way before. I always proscribed that no qualities could ever be associated with pure consciousness, but here we are, making a link between magnetism and consciousness. And it kind of makes sense.

I subscribe to the idea that everything is God - every last drop, but I always felt that God's true nature is something which is hidden. And magnetism fits that bill beautifully - it's a great place to hide. It's a part of every square inch of the Universe, yet the human mind is unable to see it.

This will probably take me a few days to get my head round the idea.

Hi Munty...if consciousness were to turn inward through intense introspection (centralpetal) to the center could that be consciousness creating the magneto/mind???? I am open for all thoughts here....

You'll have to be gentle with me Mikal. I'm still trying to get used to the idea. I mean, for a mind trying to be logical, it's pretty much "out there".

I've always thought of consciousness, at least pure consciousness, being invariably constant; a vector of empty awareness with no attributes. A magnetic field would appear to be a variable. So then I'm thinking about the Zodiac, and it's influence upon us mere mortals. Where once I thought that the stars may be an electric influence upon our CNS, now I am willing to juggle with the notion that it's the magnetic influence upon our consciousness.

This is all starting to budge a little tiny door at the back of my mind. You know, the one that your parents warned you to never open!!!

Hi Munty....gentleness is certainly held to these wonderings. I am fascinated by the idea that consciousness may create the mind which is a structure of energy possible for consciousness to create. If the mind is a magnetic field then of course I am curious to understand the complete nature of that field on scientific terms. Why does this attract me?? I had no awareness of "mind" until I became introspective and experienced a structure of energy created in that endeavour. Now to me, that is strange so to speak. Still studying of course and always attempting to grasp insights...
