    Re: Introducing Steven A Colyer

Wow, supersymmetry... its been quite awhile since I last jumped into this topic. I'm Sarah by the way, and would love to talk... well try at least on this sed topic.

Just curious, but how far inside s-symmetry have looked into?
I have not been far... just exploring the physical ideas really.

    Re: Introducing Steven A Colyer

No offence to anyone in this thread. But as Pat suggests, once the intro's are over then it is better to move any thread topic into its own thread.

This gives people the opportunity to view it, and discuss it, and it doesn't get overlooked as an intro only.

This has been Robert's policy for a while now.

Look at it this way, if someone discovers the TOE in this thread it may well be overlooked for another hundred years or so .... lol

    Re: Introducing Steven A Colyer

OK fine and thanks for the info. Over and out.

But to answer SCarter the Particle Physicists want Supersymmetry to be true because it ties up a lot of loose ends. They especially want to see a Higgs at at the LHC, assuming that frigging thing ever has a happy day (when no parts are broken, heh).

Most scientists I believe reject Supersymmetry. Gluinos, sparticles, selectrons? C'mon, what is this stuff? Some find The Standard Model ugly but I don't. Of course Higgs and SS may be real, shrug, I don't know I just doubt it. I'm pretty agnostic on this stuff, I'm more of a foundationalist than a cutting edge latest theory kind of guy. Either approach may lead to TOE.

OK that's it, seeya forever on this thread, bye.
