    quicksand

There is unidentified energy/material in the physical universe.
And there are unidentified "psychic" processes including dreams, post death phenomena (with which I'm not terribly impressed). Nevertheless it might be challenging to map one on to the other.
Of course in our day and age we won't come up with picturesque stuff like green Buddhas and red Buddhas or the many-armed goddesses. We'll walk a Calvary of unexiting images (but at least our very own) until a later flowering and possibly a new Michelangelo who makes visual symphonies of our certainties then.
What can I say about this intellectual quicksand of languages? Tiresome?
Or like the gnostics; if you can reach the point to forgive (i.e. rise above the crap) you'll feel a lot better.
    I'm not there yet.

    Well,

It's clear that languages are un-logical, un-presice and un-natural (not meaning not-natural, but meaning they don't explain nature).

"Languages are the limits of our minds and of our worlds" Ludwig Wittgenstein.

    the death of ideas

A kind of continuity is to many the ultimate good. I am somewhat convinced of meditation/dream states to point in that direction with some luck. Philosophy I think is the scraps that fall from this process. In itself it is as dead as a museum but may serve (if lucky) to reignite the above process while bewaring of the traps of repetitions, mantras and the like.

Culture is like milk...as long as it is fresh it is working for you. In a short time it is sour.
