I have been observing my young foal, born May 1st, and note that he is curious about everything. As a prey species, he will react suddenly to strange sounds and movements, yet he returns quickly to continue his examinations, unless the object of interest continues to be threatening.
Human children are very similar, with fear and concern being learned experiences.
We are a part of......everything, and we would know what we are part of, hence the questions.
As a child, I had many questions, and asked many people, receiving many answers, which often conflicted. When you ask the same question and get different answers, you contemplate a new approach.
We pose a question and then seek the answer.
I have run out of people to ask, because I sense they cannot answer any question, to ‘my' satisfaction, for a very simple reason: We all come to the experience of life from our own perspective.
One question, you offer?
‘Who am I?’
Not the name, rank and serial number answer.......by which we identify each other.
I seek the answer by which I will know myself, and in that knowing, I shall experience that which I am part of.
To that purpose, as my signature statement suggests, I would experience as much as possible on this journey called life.
(Neither an atheist, nor a proponent of any religion, am I.)
