i want to know more about what is the extra dimension in space and how to detect in practically

What dimension are your efering to? What theory does it belong to?

Up to what I know,the theories that include more than 3 spatial dimensions include several of them, not only one.

And also up to what I know, there is no empirical proof by any experiment or thought experiment that proofs any kind of extra dimension appart from the four accepted ones (3 space, 1 time).
