This League has been formed to give a platform to those more interested in the aspects of TOE that do not relate directly to the physical sciences but are looking for more comprehensive answers in the realms of metaphysics, consciousness, spirituality and the etheric nature of universal phenomenon. However, this does not exclude the physical sciences - in fact, our intention is that this league should be all inclusive and all are most welcome providing they are willing to adhere to the stated guidlines of courtesy and tolerance. We would like this league to be friendly, open and encouraging to those who may hesitate to post their ideas for fear of ridicule. All ideas deserve consideration. The solution to the TOE will come from the most unlikely source.

Hello, my name is greg.

My interests are mainly in evolution. I follow 'empirical' science. Science that can be tested and proven or theories that are, in the main, backed by current opinion.

I have no deep knowledge of Physics.

I am not really a supporter of Intelligent Design. I do realise the need for the 'conscious' to be rationally explained. After all, its all that we have ... to deny it seems absurd to me.

All of experimental and proven physics is encompassed by our united conscious ... it is the final repository.

I am here, hopefully to learn.

Just a brief word to say that this League seems to be of to a wonderful start,in only just
over 24 hours,we have three seperate threads going,that of,evolution,energy,and prophesy. All these are excellent openers for much discussion.

Hi Michael,

This is wonderful. It took me a bit to figure out how to join, but that might be a sign that I'm sufficiently non-scienctific to be of some help.

I notice we have two guilds. Interesting. In the other you have to pass a test. Interesting as well.

Although you may not have intended it as such, I take these two guilds to represent STATUS QUO METHODOLOGY and the PURE THOUGHT that methodology originally came from. They both involve EXPERIENCE and LOGIC, but methodology has ASSUMED (or is it PRESUMED) a limit to both.

I certainly hope that those who would assume or presume a limit, would be gracious enough to keep their thoughts and/or attitudes out of this guild.

I would also hope, that people will be mindful of sticking to the subject of a thread and any proposal made by person who began it. Stay on subject and discuss the merits and shortcomings of the proposal directly. If someone sees something inconsistent it, point it out and explain why it seems inconsistent, but don't just say "I look at things differently so therefore you're wrong".

And certainly don't say anything in an uncivil manner. Sheez, the forum has enought of that as it is.
