Do prophesy's exist?

If we believe in God, Its one attribute is that of being Omniscient; that our past,present&future is known to Him. In that case the world is pre-destined/predetermined; what is a prophesy for us, is already a part of His Grand-Design---predetermined!love&regards.ls

That is so true Ls my brother,alas though,many of us are not aware of our Ominiscent
being at this point in our evolution,so we rely on more "local" means of peering into
the future ie;via a sitting with a clairvoyant!

It would seem that in this modern day,we have little use for prophesy as it was in the
distant past,butwe make great use of "temporal forecasting"such as the Tarot readings,
and reading about your birthday forecasts in the daily newspapers.Is it because these
seers of the past no longer exist?Or have we moved into a more enlightened age and
prefer the instant fix of the Tarot card?

In the modern world there seems little room for the type of prophesy that was present
in the distant past,today we make do with the quick fix,read your horoscope in the daily
newspaper,go and have a sitting with a pychic,or even a phone reading,or prehaps tarot
cards.

As we become better educated and can all read and write,there is less of a need to
see these wise old oracles?

I once had a friend who had a very maligned view of oracles and psychics; she was very educated and came to the conclusion that inexperienced people bring evil spirits into their lives when they use these modern day spiritual tools. I think the topic of prophesy is important to note because of these controversial practices; perhaps this is why when discussion of spiritual topics take place there is a sour aroma for the event. It is because we have come to see these cheap devices as part of a spiritual world, when really we are using these things inappropriately and angering some sort of spiritual balance, if for lack of a better word is what this topic is all about.
