Thanks Ls for your informative post, recovering memories is a difficult thing to do,I agree
with self discipline and constant practise over several years, one can begin to access memories from past lives, but it is extremely difficult to maintain.I have had memories and actual "pictures inthe mind" of a past life, but this was a spontaneous event brought
about by visiting a place that I had never been to before in this lifetime? We arrived at this
place by car, when I stepped out of the car, into the car park it was as though I had stepped onto an electrical cable, and a shock went through my body, and revealed a series
of memories of being there in the sixteenth century!

Before this event which happened 30 years ago,the law of reincarnation was no more than an interesting theory, after this experience it became a very real fact, and no longer
    an interesting theory.

    regards michael.

    Re: Reincarnation-law of rebirth?

    Dear Michael:

I've thought for some time that you are a mediator between Eastern and Western thinking - philosophy. You continue ot reinforce those thoughts, and, yes, I have thought for long time that the reincarnation concept parallels the theory of evolution. There's much more I could say here, and I will find time to talk with you about it more. Just now I'm preoccupied with another thread.

    Thank you

Thank you most kindly RP,you are a generous soul.Reincarnation does go hand in hand
with evolution, how else could it possibly be?

    Re: Reincarnation-law of rebirth?

A biologically scientific case can be made for a form of reincarnation in the fact that there is a continuous life passed from generation to generation of all animate organisms. Future generations are direct, physically continuous descendents of past generations (going as far back as the biological history of the individual goes back - even much further than the species of being ‘human’); where the individual procreates self in a process of regeneration; also presenting a case for genetic memory and certain, qualified episodes of what is colloquially referred to as ‘deja vu’. Everyone has in fact lived many other lives. All living things have in fact lived many other lives in order to be experiencing the present life. Procreation isn’t exactly reincarnation (when the ‘soul’ acquires a new body), but procreation certainly seems to approximate reincarnation.
