I would like to present this idea to the league for discussion,what I understand about the
ether or aether is that it is a "field" on which all motions and manifestations take place/
That without this underlying background "field"nothing couldin fact take place!Like gravity,
attraction and repulsion,electromagnetic interactions,transference and exchanges of
energy,all these usual workings of natural law,I maintain could not function without this
background "field".

Einstein talked of it,so have others,but of late it has been assigned to the back burner,I thought it time to bring it once more to the centre stage.

I also maintain that this "field" is out of phase with the continuum,which makes it most
difficult to detect.

I would be most grateful for other league members thoughts on this topic,which I feel is
crucial in helping us to understand the t.o.e.

This field has been described as an etheric web,in which hangs all of creation,I rather
like that discription myself,seems to sum up such a vast complexity in a proverbial nutshell.

This web as far as I understand it,makes possible the interactions of magnetic attractions
and repulsations,it explains how gravity can inter-react with distant objects,across an
"empty vacuum".

Without this field-web motion would be impossible,and we would not,and could not exist!

According to esoteric science there are seven expressions of states of etheric energy,the
first level closest to the body,being the etheric body itself,the slowest vibrating of the
seven layers.
This layer is considered as the blue print of the physical body,and is on this level that you experience feeling when you have losta limb,but can still feel it,this is called a phantom
limb,as on the etheric level your body is still whole.

This level is also connected to our senses and sensations,touch,taste,smell,listening,and
seeing and feeling.

The second level is associated with our feelings or emotions about the self and is known
as the lower emotional body.The energy movement there correlates to the feeling you
are having about yourself.If you allow your feelings to flow whether positive or negitive,
the aura will keep itself balanced,the negitive energy being released and transformed.

If you stop yourself experiencing these emotions,block them,swallow them back down,in
other words (keeping the British stiff upper lip,)then you stop that flow of energy on the
second level connected to emotions.

The third level of the aura (etheric field,localised)is associated with our mental or rational
world and is known as the lower mental body.when this level is balanced the rational and
intuitive mind work together in harmony as one,we then experience clarity,balance and a sense of appropriateness,We feel self accepting,safe,and have sense of personal power.

If this level is strong and charged you will have a strong clear mind that serves you well.
You will have an active and healthy mental life and be interested in learning.

If this level is weak and undercharged,you will lack mental agility or clarity,when our thoughts are negitive in this level,the energy will travel slower and become darker and
distorted.

The first three levels of the aura represent the physical,emotional,and mental experiences
of our world in the physical body.

The fourth level of the aura carries our whole world of relationships and is known as the
astral body.From this level we interact with other people,animals,plants,and inanimate objects,mother earth,the sun,and the whole universe.

Here we have our feelings about each other.If we find this level low in energy,it will appear very dark,and almost a sticky like feeling to the energy.

This acts like a mucus which will accumulate in the energy field of someone who has a lot
negativity in their aura.This in turn will have a strong affect on the physical body,causing
pain and discomfort,a feeling of heaviness,exhaustion and eventually dis-ease.

The other three levels,5th,6th,7th,are finer and finer aspects of living energy with us,the
fifth is about making a conscious act of alignment with the perceived Divine will,the sixth
is about contemplation and meditation,to align yourself with the evolutionary pulse,and the seventh is the highest vibration within our energy field,it is made up of an extemely
strong golden energy,which forms into an egg shape that surrounds and protects everything within it.

It is at this level that at some point people will start to communicate mind to mind,which in
the future will seem perfectly normal.if this level is strong,charged and healthy,your tow
major abilities will be to have creative ideas and to clearly understand broad overall concepts about existance,the world and its nature.

You will create new ideas and you will know where they fit into the Great Universal Pattern
of ideas.

In order for manifestations within the orb of existance to inter-react there has to be a
"background field" to enable this to occur,this field is the aetheric or etheric,which provides the fundamental base that permits all exchanges of energy and force,and further
permits the inter-reactions of magnetic and electro-magnetic forces over vast distances.

It allows all the connections to be made,and provides a stable background that promotes
economy and cohesion.

Existence as it presents itself to manifestation within this physical universe,needs I feel
a "field" that allows this to occur,for me this field is the etheric web within which we are all
firmily attached.For energy to motion its sway through the pressures of willed intent,it needs a point of contact and reference,which the web provides,and further permits the
interactions of electro-magnetism over vast distances,(because in fact the field has contact everywhere simultaneosly and is ubiquitous in nature)Therefore in truth no distance has occured?We are in fact deluded by the mirage of distance!

You seem to be all alone here (literally).
Interesting thread though really, so I thought I'd join you.

Even the empiricists have given this some thought. (but not much...at least not in these types of terms.) I am always surprised by some folks unwillingness to entertain the idea that if you can't measure it with a machine; it doesn't exist.
Of course we already have a superb device for this sort of exploration... our minds.
The auric field is so readily discernable ( even to a minimally trained beginner) that anyone can perceive it... even a hard scientist. Of course, most of them are unwilling to even try.
God I miss the '60's

Not really so much, but that was a time of new growth and expansion of conciousness that seemed (at least to my young mind) quite palpable in the aether.

Maybe we need a resurgence of boosters...
