Dear North:
In a physically expanding 4-D universe the 'curvature of space-time' is accounted for by the ever enlarging dimensions of a given coordinate system, where a straight line appears 'curved', due to the constant, unaccounted for expansion of given coordinate systems.
In the case of the expedition of 1919, where starlight originating behind the sun during a total eclipse appeared to be closer to the sun, corresponding with Einstein's predictions: the explanation is in the enlargement of the sun - and the apparent shift of starlight toward the sun, during the course of the 8 1/2 minutes it takes for light to move from the sun's distance, to observers on earth.
A search for a precedent for this explanation will reveal that there is none.

Provably existence is a relative principle because it can only be discerned empirically; then non existence must be the absolute principle - as in absolute zero, not absolute one or absolute half, etc. which seem to be illogical because they are based on relatively arbitrary measurements.

You make an interesting point here Nobody, non existence does seem to be the
absolute principle, however, even a principle has an opposite,so is it really then absolute?

Exactly!Except of course that which is absolutely still!
regards michael.
Hello Michael.
Might you give me an existential example of absolute rest?
Best regards,

No can do my friend, for all that exists "within" the physical universe moves, however,
within the absolute, there lies absolute motionlessness, but this is beyond the concept
of "mere" existence!
regards michael.

Hey Michael:
You are among those from whom I've learned not to underestimate the 'subjective', though remaining uncertain about its place in the existential context.
Still working on it.
Best regards,
- RP
