Is that why we are paying more in fuel, because the dollar is lower than the euro?

Hi Sally: The dollar has been falling significantly and steadily against the other currencies, except for the Japanese Yen and the Chinese Huan. ( they artifically keep their currency low ) At one time 85 cents would buy you 1 euro now it takes~$1.45 to buy one euro. Since the dollar keeps falling which currency would you want to be paid in? This would mean Iran's oil reserves are worth ~ $ 13 trillion.
I'm betting we will invade, so the oil companies can control their oil.
If I was Canadien, be afraid, be very afraid.
Best to all,

President Goerge W Bush, Texas oil man. Vice President Dick Cheney, Ex Ceo Halliburton, The largest oilfield services and product company in the world. Iraq oil fields, known to be second largest known reserve in the world, worth trillions. Green Zone sits directly on top of the oil. America, a military machine with an oil man in charge. 2+2=4 Need I say more! = MJA The truth of everything is less than one inch, it is only equal and the lion is one. Hi Professor, I'm not really a betting man, but do you have any trouble with a country that has alot of nukes calling another country an evil empire, and invade or threaten to invade them, if they try to have them too. And what does that make us? Is that hypocrisy, the spread of Democracy or something else? Do good guys have nuclear weapons? = MJA The truth of everything is less than one inch, it is only equal and the lion is one. One is free when the door is opened, education has the key. =

Ok, so OPEC won't allow a new energy source unless they control the switch? So America goes to war to get in control, but isn't America a part of the OPEC council? Why is the government funding research when nothing can happen unless OPEC is out of the way? Is that money just paying people to have jobs that do nothing?
I just did a survey (I get paid to do those sometimes) and it was on energy. It mentioned that Shell was doing more than the other companies. All they did was develop a biometric way to pay for gas.
You know, I would be happier if more sidewalks were developed in the meantime instead of paying for research that isn't going to happen. All that money spent on war, research and new highways instead of engineering more public transport and sidewalks is ridiculous. I live in an area where you can't get anywhere without a car, sure I can walk to the corner market but there isn't any sidewalk (it looks like one is being built though). But most places don't have a market around the corner, let alone sidewalks for people that want to conserve.

Hi MJA and Sally; MJA; It's good you're not a betting man. I like blackjack and poker ( not that horrible Texas Holdem, but draw and stud ). I have to admit my retirement fund might be larger if I never gambled. My big three worst inventions that i picked were Cigarets ( Sorry Sally I hope you can quit ), Autos and Nuclear Weapons. Cigarets and cars probably caused the most deaths, but nuclear weapons have an awesome potential for catastrophic destruction. I agree with the president of Iran in that it's not fair. But as with my children when they were young and gave me that argument; my response was always the same TOO BAD. You really wouldn't want to see Iran with those weapons, if they had them they would have used them already so they could all have their 72 virgins' I think it's to mankinds credit that the only time we used them against one another was at the end of WWII. I really don't think we would have had that 62 year moratorium if the Arab nations had them. I'm not trying to be prejudiced here, only realistic. Sally: There is a reason why oil went from $20 a bbl, to nearly $100 a bbl. It's called manipulation of the market which the oil companies are able to do now, since they CONTROL not own most of the oil. OPEC oil is controlled by those very same companies with U.S backing. My guess is that there are other more efficient sources of energy, being held on the shelves. Right now the oil companies and the USA rules, part of the reason for the war in Iraq. Iraq was selling to the Germans and French, thus keeping the market down. I'm sure ( well maybe not ) that Lloyd would agree with me that the 1st thing capitalist do is try to control the market. Well so much for happy talk on a beautiful Saturday morning. Best, Pat
