    Re: East Meets West Logic...

At the simplest possible level we know that there's something called 'energy'

    - a simple model for energy would be a 1d linear motion over the surface of a torus
    - gravity
    (not negotiable, fundamental, non-polar)

and then some mechanism for that energy to do stuff
    - evolution
    (of structure)
    - gravity seeds the quantum realm (electromagnetism)

    n=24 hierarchies built on recursion
    - with completion of recursion comes revolution.

    A novel emergent property arises.

Although it is tempting to believe that reality is too 'complex' to have been built from such a simple pattern -
    - that simple pattern (by virtue of hierarchy)
    capable

    - not only all of this
    (quite considerably (unimaginably so) more).

Google Results 1 - 10 of about 909,000 for "political corruption". (0.41 seconds)
Human beings cannot handle the responsibility which comes with power (over others); themselves corrupt.

The problem isn't in gaining an understanding of reality -
    - the problem which we face relates to the discovery of a mechanism which allows us all to all get over our(former)selves.

We're born with 'corruption' (greed) built in
    - can all get over ourselves if we allow ourselves the freedom to 'explore'
    for ourselves ... ... ...

    - prevent ourselves (however) from exploring (understanding our world) due in major part to the repressive systems which have grown to wield absolute power over human interactions.

    Luke 11:45-52

And he said, “Woe to you lawyers also! For you load people with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers. Woe to you!
    {47...52}
Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering.”

    - prevent ourselves (however) from exploring (understanding our world) due in major part to the repressive systems which have grown to wield absolute power over human interactions.

    Understanding reality isn't difficult -
what's difficult is learning and teaching mutual respect and then reshaping society away from expertise.

    Once we're all ~everything~
    - we'll be ready to move on

    - cannot grow as a species until the toxic dependencies which 'experts' place on others are removed.

This idea may be considered to be as simple an idea as the evolution of a network from nodal to fully distributed (most stable) topology.

    Re: East Meets West Logic...

As lw mentions - presumably anything which we buy which can't stand as it's own collateral should be excluded from production.

    Solution
A 5 year both guarantee and no questions asked complete refund guaranteed on all items purchased (regardless of packaging) would help to kill off the proliferation of cr*p which we currently experience.

This type of policy 'd help to destroy the plastic toys industry - it's not as if any of the stuff they generate is fun
nor lasts for more than a few days in the hands of a child.

Toy companies and merchandising deals -
the advertising exec's approach to maximising profits whilst minimising fun.

Their fancy cars are built on miserable children -
    - isn't it time that we rediscover the point of life?

The point of life is nothing to do with money

    All things considered then -
    - how do we re-form society?

How about an explanation of reality (evolution) and the problem we face (legacy instincts from our own evolution) followed by just a couple of prime directives which arise from an understanding of ourselves as evolved neural structures seeking stimulation within an environment of (currently life-critical) limiting natural resources.

    That's about all we need.

    Re: East Meets West Logic...

Hi Steve, I just thought I'd clarify my purpose of using hydrodynamics as an em-wave descriptor of force. I just want to make sure others do not think I am speaking of a liquid, as I am not. Hydrodynamics has been used since the forties, when building nuclear bombs, to describe the flow of plasma dynamics in stars__as the U.S. Military had to use a probability mathematics of different star sizes, to understand these complex dynamics, before exploding the first A-bomb, as even the physics community__of the time__had many who thought they may explode the entire planet.

So hydrodynamics of fluids can be transferred to plasmas, and finally to galaxies, within plasma clouds, and em-waves, as a dynamics of em-waves'_gravity flows, etc., as non-viscous fluids__just as though the physical entities mathematized were actually physical fluids. But, I'm only applying it to em-waves pushing em-waves to any central point, as in a black-hole, star, planet or atom/proton, etc.__anywhere in the universe. As we know, gravity is a force, not an attractor, as many have falsely interpreted it. There are only the four forces in the known Universe__they are all forces__that includes gravity_though it seems completely counter-intuitive_it's not...

Hope that explains that little bit__and thanks SB for your understanding of hydrodynamics, as I meant it...rrr

    (more later...)

Though we could also transform geometric properties within a liquid(non-viscous fluid...), such as encapsulation/containment into properties of serial logic as well....

The mouth, on the other hand, becomes exhausted if you talk too much.
Better to keep your thoughts inside you.

The pattern of evolution from our own first person to the third person perspective which our mind may hold over reality.

The first person perspective barks out orders - uses his voice.
The third person perspective (thinks, writes) is capable of reflection.

Although a very definite pattern -
    perhaps unsurprising.
As the volume of information which we're required to wield increases -
    - we become less capable of useful real time (spoken) interaction.

Haven't the information in short term memory.
Even if we did, don't have the time to find and express it in the normal time-course of conversation.

Trying to suggest that speech (linear words such as those used by politicians and lawyers when they're being rude to one another)
(as opposed to poetry and lyric - which are neither generated real-time nor spoken with any intention of delivering linear meaning)

    is for children

    - an essential stage which human beings pass through on a trajectory from externalised to internalised communication*.

He's perhaps unaware that his parasitic scheme works in the opposite direction.
