There is an interesting little mathematical formula involving doubling.

Take a glass and add just one drop.

    Now double this.

And double again, and so on.

Until you reach the point where you have doubled just beyond half-way.

The next doubling takes us over the edge.

That's where many people see the human race and it's activities presently.

I agree with your comment that we must expand our thinking and diversify.

In nature, the main function of diversity, is increased chances of survival.

So, how diverse are we going to get? The bundle is riding on it, and I'm only half kidding. The stakes are high and bluffing on a busted flush, is not an option.
So many paths to the same destination,
would, but I could, experience them all...

    apologies -

That would surely be our undoing.
While we may be permitted the keys to our own destruction, I rather suspect that we shall never be granted the power to effect the 'big picture' in any truly signficant way.
What's a planet or two, a solar system or two, in the great scheme of things? The universe is quite capable of rebuilding, and possibly such renovation will be an 'upgrade'.
The present planet and inhabitants seem rather hard to improve upon, with one possible exception.
Maybe we could have done better with that species know as 'mankind'. Never figured it to become so invasive to other species, and even destructive to itself. Where did that get programmed in? Flawed from the start or was it a mutation?
ToE as a complete understanding rather than omnipotence.

Although we gain a complete understanding of how to get from any particular A to some other B -
    - we're afforded this understanding concomitantly with an understanding of our own limitations -

that although we know how to take some journey
    - that we'll never be able to make the trip - because of the limitations placed on all creations within our structured Universe of action.

    I agree
    - though we're given all of the tools which we require to reshape our context along lines most appealing.

The important distinction here is that our perspective is but a small part of reality -
our satisfaction (evolution of society into something better)
    (now) within our own hands
    - ours to decide how best to proceed.

The two triangles make up a novel triangular section side of the tetrahedron.

    this triangle ->
    ......................................^
    ......................................|
......................is made up from the duality of the one at
......................the front and its partner dual at the back.

That child triangle can then (in time) meet its dual and form into its own harmonious duality.
