But then you may have something to loose. My son in law is a millionaire and he's always worried he's going to loose it. I lost everything after 2 divorces and now I rent everything, no worries about loosing something you don't have.

Rents are cheap in the Detroit area also. No one wants to live here. Not so cheap in San Diego or San Francisco though.
