a QG dialog - 03-22-2008, 02:21 PM

Here is a dialog that will give some ideas on the resolution needed for Smolin's 1st enigma of theoretical physics. http://www.arxiv.org/PS_cache/hep-th.../0310077v1.pdf

Time independence: [∂E(g)]²=[∂F(a)×∂r(a)]·[∂F(b)×∂r(b)] and Mass independence: a(tr(t)=c²

A nice and objective comparison between the two hot topics in physics.
It is well organized, as by shown at the end of the article:
"Many thanks to Ted Newman, Gary Horowitz, Abhay Ashtekar, Juan Maldacena, Lee Smolin and Simone Speziale for corrections and suggestions."

I guess the 2 portrayed characters in this dialog: Sal is Lee Smolin http://www.leesmolin.com/ ,

Simp is Simone Speziale http://www.perimeterinstitute.ca/per...QGS03oct06.pdf .

Best Regards. Bottomlander
