Between the Mars probe and the LHC, I think we are all holding our breath to see the new info which will come from those.

I thought we were descended from Martians?

That's what the probe is looking for as we speak?

LOL. The problem is that the original is in Martian, and there is no Rosetta Stone. It would be nice if they could find traces of microscopic life though.
Sometimes' I think Antonio, though the odds are against it, we may have the only life in the universe here on Earth. Kind of a lonely feeling I get at times.

That's is why we need to clone some of the people we like, maybe ourselves?

Not me thanks. I hope they broke my mold. I want to be a one of a kind model. I remember what happened to Michael Keaton when he started cloning himself in the movies. His clones became dummer and dummer.

Re: imago - 06-08-2008, 04:44 PM

are you implying that intelligence cannot be cloned? But maybe in the future that can be done also as in computer upload and download of memory content. This was shown in one of the Star Trek movies.

Re: imago - 06-08-2008, 04:52 PM

In that youtube link I posted it said it's projected by 2049 a lap top computer will have more computing capabilites then the entire mankind. I then think we'll probably have a symbionic brain link to it. Outside of the transporter, I think we'll outdo Star Trek, including, the replicators and Holodeck.

But I'm afraid I won't live to see this comes true?
