I didn't know that. I had my first heart attack back in 1987 when I was 42, but I did let my doctors do what they needed to do and so far I got another 21 years out of this old ticker. Time to see my grandson, and maybe get married for the 3rd time.

Wherever and whenever silicon hearts become transplantable then it is possible to live a long long time.

Re: nervous operators

I'm partial to that one but not the other. The clogged arteries can be clean-up by microlaser optical fiber intranvenous surgery.

I had the rotorooter type and then little stents implanted. Hopefully they weren't nervous operators when they were doing it.

Re: nervous operators

Surgeons were trained to have steady hands even though they were mentally nervous.

Re: nervous operators

Surgeons, especially plastic ones, besides professional sports and movie stars, are the highest paid professions.

I'm not sure about the plastic ones, but the other ones deserve their money. I couldn't handle life and death operations. If I make a mistake I erase it.

Re: nervous operators

The advent of computer spreadsheets have all but made the manufacturers of erasers out of business.
