gravity not explained - 07-02-2008, 03:37 PM

Einstein’s theory of general relativity with all its successes: predictions, verifications, and applications still failed to achieve the original question posted by Sir Isaac Newton in the 17th century: why masses attract and in light of Maxwell’s electromagnetism in the 19th century: why masses cannot repel since electric charges are capable of both effects. Einstein never explain why masses could ever affect spacetime (as pure empty vacuum) if he already removed all attractive forces from his geometric field equations. They described accurately but provided no plausible reason why the spacetime curvature depended on the local density of the energy-momentum tensor.

It is to everyone advantage that a detailed inspection of this tensor turns out to give a logical reason that it is simply equivalent to the square of energy if and only if length (space) and time are also equivalent. This is already implied in the theory of special relativity. Minkowsky (1864-1909) figuratively announced its unification to the scientific community in 1908. His diagrams are the same as Feynman diagrams describing the interactions of spacetime events in all quantum field theories.

Total energy is really the integral of differential energy which is the inner product of infinitesimal forces and differential distances. On the other hand, Total linear momentum is the integral of differential momentum which is the inner product of infinitesimal forces and differential time. The latter is not a true inner product since time is not a vector by its accepted definition as a free parameter. But space as length or position is. Together, space and time becomes a pseudo-vector in 4D spacetime. Now, if these infinitesimal forces become infinitesimal primary repulsive forces: F(1) and F(2) and these distance and time intervals become spacetime metrics: Y(1) and Y(2) then their outer-inner-outer product becomes the square of differential energy (x): x²=F(1)´Y(1)×F(2)´Y(2). Expanded by Lagrange’s identity gives two equivalent expressions: x²=[Y(1)×F(2)][F(1)×Y(2)]-[Y(1)×Y(2)][F(1)×F(2)] or x²=[Y(1)×Y(2)][F(1)×F(2)]-[Y(1)×F(2)][F(1)×Y(2)]. Depending on the orthogonality of these infinitesimal vectors, there are 4 irreducible solutions. Concise descriptions can be achieved using Hadamard matrices H+ and H- as quanta of spacetime charges.

Time independence: [∂E(g)]²=[∂F(a)×∂r(a)]·[∂F(b)×∂r(b)] and Mass independence: a(tr(t)=c²

prehaps gravity is not explained because of a total mind block and acceptance that it might just be something to do with willed consciousness in action.?

Are you suggesting that to find the TOE is to unwill consciousness back to subconsciousness? Many a thing are discovered during REM.

That's an interesting question Antonio, you could be onto something here.

Maybe the universe was created by the absolute subconscious?

Yes that a very apt way to describe it.

So, as long as we remain conscious the TOE will never be found? If everyone in the whole universe go to sleep at the same time then the TOE becomes suddenly crystal clear?

That is a great idea, lets all turn in now and dream of toe!
