The scalar Higgs boson is a spin-0 boson. The graviton is a spin-2 boson. Theoretically speaking, the value of spin for every elementary particle is twice its fractal dimension. For graviton its fractal dimension is 1 = 2/2. For Higgs zero since 0 divided by 2 is zero. For vector gauge bosons their fractal dimension is ½ =1 ¸ 2. For all fermions the fractal dimension is ¼ = ½ ¸ 2. This spin fractal dim rule would then indicate that the spin of the gluons must be 1/3 instead of 1. This would help explain the 3-jets experiments and rationalize the Gell-Mann representation of SU(3) generators. Wherever and whenever the spin of 3 gluons are added the triangular pattern g-g-g = 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 = 1 has unit spin as required for massless particle QCD color interactions.
