The lateral area of a right circular cone is given by pRL square units where the irrational transcendental number p multiplied by the radius R of the circular base and the lateral slant height L of the circular cone. However, applying this formula to the lightcone of Special Relativity (SR), it can be noted by careful investigations that the lateral slant become the geodesic path of a particular light ray traveling obliquely along the imaginary spacetime axes with a slope given by the vacuum speed of light.
The lightcone existence is completely dependent on this vacuum speed of light. In the fullest extent the shape and size of the finite lightcone is also dependent on this particular speed of light. The obvious question is whether this speed can take on the value of infinity instead of the experimentally determined value of about 300 000 kilometers per second. However, at the exact value of infinity the slope of the lateral slant is mathematically undefined. Nevertheless, in more advanced investigations the 4D imaginary lightcone is the surface generated by line generators passing through the big bang singularity extended indefinitely in both directions, into the positively infinite future and into the negatively infinite past.
