    representations

The idea of representation started where and when the art and science of written language in the most primitive forms began. This is seen in cave paintings dated 30 000 years ago. Some of these representations also showed the 1st appearance of the art and science of counting and heralded the idea of natural numbers as symbolic abstract representations of real physical objects. Now, two distinct representations can be distinguished: the alphabets and the numerals. Furthermore, in any civilized and technologically advanced society, both types are utilized to the utmost limit of their capabilities.

The unification of alphabets (true and false or yes and no) and numerals (1 and 0) gives birth to the two values system or binary system of the digital sciences of computers, cell phones, internet, and the world wide web (www) for complex communication networks. The important question for future innovations is the implementation of a ternary system of alphanumeric representations of (yes, maybe, and no) or (1, 0, -1). The product of these two systems is the product of the 1st smallest consecutive even and odd prime numbers (2 and 3) giving the 1st perfect number 6 whose factors sum equals its factors product: 1+2+3=1x2x3. Surprisingly, 2 and 3 are the generating factors whose sums of their multiples create all the elements inside the infinity matrix of a sieve of Diophantus. That is the divisive sum or the divisive product of dichotomy and trichotomy is hexatomy and by 1 to 1 correspondence extended onto expansive astronomy. A triple by-pass can save the life of a person with a broken heart. On the other hand, triple hexatomies symbolize the devil in the Christian Bible. The 6th division of human anatomy is sexotomy. Without it life is not artificially but naturally extinct. Therefore, inconsequently, as a form of a ternary question, MAYBE what the world needs now is more sex symbols, not more alphanumeric symbols, YES or NO? Please vote as your free will allows. Note that no votes means MAYBE which is the same as UNDECIDED, equivalent to a quantum of uncertainty for each individual relative consciousness.

    Re: representations

One of your longest postings since I have joined this forum, Antonio, and as always, an interesting premise.

What's with this negative billing style of "no votes mean maybe or undecided?"

If I am temporarily unavailable due to abscence from this plane or dimension for whatever reason, I do not grant you permission to state my preferences on this or any other topic, lol....

Perhaps you would be kind enough to state your position and arguments for same?

That is why the quantum vacuum fluctuations is a quantum of uncertainty for its no responds except through Casimir experiments as a choice of direction. As squares of energy the spacetime quanta are always in states of local infinitesimal directional invariance which cannot be detected by external macroscopic interference.

If no more votes upcoming then Austin's will be enough to determine the future course of action for the whole world. As it is said in the Book of Genesis: let there be light! The rest is history.

    Re: representations

    Antonio, Austin,

Please clarify your meaning of the term "sex symbols."

Several references connotate the term to mean the following.

    n.
A person, especially an entertainer or celebrity, who is widely acknowledged to have sex appeal.
I am thinking that you are referrencing a symbolic language instead of the above?

    Are any examples forthcoming?

    Re: representations

What I have in mind are symbols of natural fertility, e.g. birds and the bees, flowers and honey, and of course Easter bunnies but not necessarily Playboys bunnies.

Wouldn't the product of this ternary system (1, 0, -1) be zero. Don't you mean the ternary system should use (0, 1, 2) ?? as you seem to say below ??

Also can you explain 'sums of their multiples' or give me a 'simple' form of the equations ?

    Thanks Antonio ... greg

    Re: representations

Sex is innate, natural and a pro-creational urge more than likely deeply invested into the life force itself....

We need more of a sense of intimacy...healthy symbols that represent that deeply needed state within us....
