    This is a test

    For those who claim to know geometry as well as algebra, the following two questions can be answered in less than a minute after anyone has read and understand the statements:

    1. The implication of Euclid’s fifth postulate.
    2. The solution of the quadratic equation: ��²+1=0.
    Time independence: [∂E(g)]²=[∂F(a)×∂r(a)]·[∂F(b)×∂r(b)] and Mass independence: a(tr(t)=c²

    Not sure what you mean, but if the 'fifth postulate' is correct then any two angles that sum 90deg must have lines that are parrallel ?

    The second statement equation just shows up on my screen as a series of question marks ....

    Greg, your answer is not mathematically precise but my point is that revising the 5th postulate by stating that no parallel line exist or that there are infinitely many parallel lines creates two distinct non-Euclidean geometries. One of them is responsible for the successful formulation of general relativity while the other hyperbolic geometry can be used to describe a quantum theory of the spacetime continuum. IMO, the latter is related to a successful model of cold fusion.

    Austin, your solution is correct and it provided the beginning of a new branch of mathematics called complex analysis.
