could I make a request for a Time Travel forum? I know its "out there" but honestly i think there's alot to be said on the subject, and it where my primary interest in physics lies. Its hard to find anywhere to have serious exchanges on the subject, and I thought perhaps this might be a good place?

Hello Eldar. I've added a Time Travel forum as you requested. I agree that time travel is an important area of discussion. If time travel is indeed possible, it would be interesting to understand under what conditions time travel can be realized. If time travel is not possible, it would still be instructive to understand why. I think what is more relavant to the Theory of Everything is the nature of time itself. Once we have a deeper understanding of time then the possibilities of time travel should become evident.

On a less serious note -- there is a forum dedicated to time-travelers in the Hotline Forums section of the ToeQuest website. Not too popular at the moment since it is restricted to time-travelers only. Must not be too many of those around.

...We all could post at the Time Traveler's Forum, since we are all time travelers. Each of us moves through time (Time being illusionary, I believe) or perceives time one 'now' at a time. think of your life as a deck of cards stacked on top of a table, with each major event of your life a card. The deck is stacked with your 'conception' card on top, your 'birth card' under that one, your 'said first word' under that, and so forth. Going through life is parallel to going through that card deck one-by-one. Just as you can view only one card at a time, you can perceive only one event, or now, in your life at a time, even though all the cards exist simultaneously on the table top, just as all of the moments of our lives exist simultaneously.

The deck theory is interesting. Then would some of our cards belong in more than one deck, i.e.events that are shared events with others? Would some cards be blank, the existence of non-events should be possible?
