Suggestion: Inviting scientists' comments on ToeQuest

I had another idea for the future of ToeQuest. We could establish a list of those persons most influencial on Science today and I mean the scientists and philosophers that are alive and able to communicate like Stephen Hocking for example.

We could invite them to give us a talk on their own personal Toe and promise them that they would not need to follow it up in any way so it's just a one off letter from the modern day heros of this field.

What do you think?

Hi Rufe, lets also look at people like Max Tegmark and Turok. The wider our horizon, the more chances that someone will respond..

I would first need Robert's blessing on this and he would have to be the major representative of ToeQuest when these letters are sent. First we need a post to the group in general announcing this.
Second we need a concensus on how it is to be handled answering such questions as 'should we send a hard copy' through the mail?
Third we need a concise list of those to be corresponded with.
Fourth we need a forum and method of handling those that respond.

Robert hasn't evaporated, but is busy with work in the real world. He visits daily but mainly works on behind the scenes stuff and, I imagine, doesn't get to read all the threads through. I'll highlight this thread and ask him to take a look though, if you like.
